Area Sailing
A short walk along the beach from Burbo Point is Blundellsands sailing club, which was established over a century ago and provides a challenging race programme from May-September.
On 5th July 2008 the yachts of the Clipper Round the World Race will pass Burbo Point on their way to the finish line off Liverpool's Albert Dock.
